A former Chairman of the Plateau state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Katdapba Yunana Gobum has been Kidnapped
The former chairman who was kidnaped on Wednesday evening, had just left the NUJ press Center at about 7pm for home when he reportedly disappeared.
Attempts by friends and families to reached him on his phone were unsuccessful.
However, on Thursday morning, the kidnappers reportedly reached out to the family of the Journalist demanding a 35 million naira ransom.
The State police command when contacted said, the are yet to get a formal report of the kidnap of Mr. Gobum as at the time of filing this report
